Fionna could feel herself blushing, she could even feel the butterflies in her stomach fluttering. She didn't know what to do, or what to say. If she said yes? She was going on a date for the first time with a BOY, a living (wouldn't exactly say living, since he's a vampire and all), breathing BOY. Or she'd say no and there whole friendship would be cut down like the ugly raccoon monster she had to kill yesterday.
"Well…I-I uhh…er…" She knows she sounded stupid, but the great and oobly answer couldn't come out of her mouth!
"Thanks Fee! I'll pick you up at 8:00 at your place!" Marshall grinned, giving me a kiss on the cheek "See ya' tomorrow!" Marshall floated away with a grin on his face, leaving a blushing Fionna behind.
---- Marshall ----
Yes. Marshall Lee has finally gotten an excuse to ask Fionna out. He remembered the first time he met the human girl, which was when she was 7 and he was… well however old he was now. He lost count when he hit the 1,000 mark. Who would care about an age when your stuck in an 18 year old body anyway? Well, she was the most wonderful thing he ever had laid eyes on. She had hair like corn silk, fresh pinky skin (he usually didn't like pink, but when it came to her: it was exceptionally wonderful), and blush that made him hungry for red. Every time he saw her, he wanted to just take her away to his cave and be with her forever. But, he was never into the fairytales. She was a challenge, and he liked it.
Going out to the movies with his friends, and them trying to get him to bring a girl, was the perfect plan to ask Fionna on a date. Marshall Lee wasn't so fond of the Prince of Candy Kingdom AKA Prince Gumball. It seemed like he was very much time consuming, leaving Marshall Lee to wonder what she was doing today. He hated how she didn't hang with him all the time like she did with Prince Gumball. Its hard to make Marshall jealous. His pocket started to vibrate, sounding off the rock music ring tone he set for it. He answered it, and said
"Hey!" It was Able, Clarisse, and Peter, the ones who set up they date-movie get out. "You find yourself a date yet?!?" Marshall Lee could hear partying Able and Peter in the back round, playing "Dance Dance Ghouls for Ghouls".
"Yeah I have actually, her names Fionna! Ya' know, the girl I've been talking about..?" Marshall blushed, thinking of Fionna and his friends mingling. His friends where ghosts: she was mortal. Usually the two don't mix, he felt unsure of how things would go…
"Oh yeah the mortal! Sweet brohan~ Cant wait to meet the chicky, cause' you just wont shut up about her!" He could hear them all laughing in the back round at Clarisse's comment.
"S-shut up guys! I'll see ya' guys around eight?"
"Wouldn't miss my pal being a fool gushing over a girl!" She laughed "If that was a movie, I'd pay a fortune to see that one. glad ill have popcorn with me! See ya' at eight!" She hung up on me, giving me an odd feeling inside me. Was it love, or the nervous jitters coming from my stomach? Marshall Lee the Vampire King looked out the window, seeing the sun peaking out from the clouds. He yawned, moving toward the plush tricked out coffin which laid on his bedroom floor.
"I wonder… what it'd be like to have Fionna as my Vampire Queen.." He sighed, pulling the covers apart. He knew those thoughts where impossible, and he should stop thinking those corrupt things. Things where just getting started; he didn't wanna get his hopes up to high.
